32: first cryptic

oops i forgot to post my last couple puzzles. here's my first attempt at making a cryptic, enjoy!

thoughts (warning: spoilers)

this was fun to make. the unchecked squares give a lot of fill options, and there's a lot of room for cluing creativity. my favs were probably REDTAPE and INEXACT. will probably try making more of these in the future!
